Melony's Candlelite Cafe

This intimate little Tennessee-inspired Italian ristorante situated in the former Crackerbee’s antique shop offers delectable homemade and authentic Italian dishes such as baked ziti, fettucine alfredo, lasagna and much more. The garlic bread, Melony’s husband’s recipe, is baked fresh daily. Originally from the Catskill Mountains of New York, Melony now makes her home in Buladean, just over the line from Unicoi in North Carolina. She and her family have been in the restaurant business for some seven years in the Burnsville and Bakersville, NC area. It’s the beautiful mountain setting in Unicoi, says Melony, which drew her over the mountain to Northeast Tennessee. Daily specials are offered and carry-out is available.
