Woodsmoke Campground

The distinctive totem, carved by Unicoi County artist and Woodsmoke Campground owner Urban Bird marks the entrance to the lushly wooded 71 acres of this popular East Tennessee campground established in 1997. The campground features shady hiking trails and is fortunately surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest on Buffalo Mountain. Woodsmoke Campground offers 29 full hook-up camping sites for recreational vehicles. Tent camping is also available. The site is open from March 1 to December 1. Reservations are taken for a limited number of winter campers during the period from December to March. Urban Bird’s naturalistic and regionally inspired artwork, in pen & ink, oil, and water color, is also available for sale at Woodsmoke Campground and in area galleries.
