Unicoi Funeral Home (opened in 1987) is part of a long-time, family-owned funeral services business (Robert Ledford Funeral Home) established in 1954 by the late Robert Ledford in nearby Erwin, Tennessee. Robert Ledford Funeral Homes, which also includes Erwin Memorial Funeral Home (opened in 1988), prides itself in offering a comprehensive list of funeral services including burial and cremation, pre-needs planning, and after-care services. All faiths are served and all insurance and pre-needs are honored. Unicoi Funeral Home’s distinctive A-frame building features a large chapel and greeting area, as well an unusual copper art sculpture depicting a branching tree.
