Whistle Stop Deli and Catering

Wanda Taylor started at a young age in the food industry, some 40 years ago, and has been a professional caterer since 1991. With a diverse Tri-Cities corporate clientele which includes Mountain States Health Alliance, Wanda also provides imaginative catering for churches, weddings, class reunions, as well as other special events. Her open menu is as diverse as her customers and based on the clients’ needs. Taylor prides herself in coordinating a wide array of special requests, providing traditional home-style cooking made completely from scratch. Her facility on Howard Gouge Road is the nerve center for the catering business, but also has become a popular local deli, welcoming walk-in customers who may call in special orders as take-out box lunches or simply pick up cakes and pies from Taylor’s tasty dessert offerings. Whistle Stop Deli offers sandwiches, hot entrees, soups, salads, and take-home sliced meats and Amish cheeses sold by the pound. Lunch seating is available outside under picnic umbrellas.
