Higgins Wedding Photography

Husband and wife team Tim and Penney Higgins began their family photography business in the late 1980s from a simple merchant’s booth at the popular Unicoi County Apple Festival in Erwin. With that early success, the Higgins, both public school teachers, decided to branch out into the niche market of wedding photography. Using both digital and film formats in color and black and white, Tim and Penney also specialize in the art of special effects such as color overlay. Subjects are photographed in both studio and natural, outdoor scenic settings.
